Dr. Redwan – Owner
Dr. Hani Redwan (MD, MSc, FRCSC) is a Fellow of The Royal College Of Physicians And Surgeons Of Canada. He received his residency training in general surgery at the University of Calgary and his colorectal training at the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Redwan treats a wide range of benign and malignant conditions for adults in the hospital environment, and believes that a persons’ visual aspect can help their confidence and illuminate their inner health. As Dr. Redwan maintains his continuing education in the field of General & Colorectal Surgery, he has further extended his training in Medical Aesthetics to include injections, IPL, non-surgical body contouring and radio-frequency treatments. He is very enthusiastic about the present state of the art, and will continue to attend conferences and workshops as new and cutting-edge therapies become available.
Jauna Murphy – Esthetician
Upon graduating from Island Career Academy (2002), Jauna began a successful career path as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA). Subsequently, Jauna has no less than 15 years of experience as an accomplished CCA. Furthering Jauna’s need for learning and broadening career path, Jauna graduated with Honors (Hons) in Cosmetology and Esthetics from Cape Breton Business College (2017). At Neolaía Medi Spa, Jauna will practice medical esthetics with more specialized training in skin resurfacing, photo-rejuvenation, skin tightening and non-surgical body contouring.
Melanie MacDonald – Manager/Receptionist
Melanie holds a Diploma in Business Administration & Medical Secretary from Cape Breton Business College (1992) Melanie’s career path began as an Administrative Assistant at a building supply company and has subsequently gained 11 years of experience in this field. Since 2003 however, Melanie has successfully operated her own business for 13 years, and for the last 3 years she has simultaneously held a position as a Department Manager for a retail store as well as holding an Accounting and Management Clerk position for a local resort.
